Louis Stokes North Star STEM Alliance/MnDRIVE Partnership

Louis Stokes North Star STEM Alliance logo
The Louis Stokes North Star STEM Alliance and MnDRIVE have partnered to fund the Undergraduate Summer Internships program for students from groups underrepresented in science. The funding will support interns to work on research relevant to a specific MnDRIVE area: Robotics, Global Food, Environment, Brain Conditions, Cancer Clinical Trials.

Program Description

MnDRIVE and the Louis Stokes North Star STEM Alliance match undergraduate interns with faculty mentors and their laboratories for a summer of research. Each intern will have the freedom to choose their summer research project from the list of participating faculty that span the five MnDRIVE research areas.

Scholars that are matched with a mentor then immerse themselves in the 8-week long research internship. Project presentations during the final week of the internship will be given by the scholars.
